The deal was brokered by TWI Radio which has represented the Premier
League outside the UK for the past five years.
Premier League CEO Richard Scudamore said, "The Premier League
is the world’s most popular domestic league competition. We are
now broadcast on television in more than 180 different countries,
but we are always looking to ensure there are numerous ways for
fans to access and enjoy the competition.
"Our continued relationship with TWI for our international
radio rights will ensure that all the best Barclays English Premiership
action is available to hundreds of millions of Premier League fans
throughout the world. The coverage right across the US in the deal
with Sirius is particularly pleasing as we look to develop the league
in that market."
