DD Sahyadri launches DQ's 'The world of Tosh'

MUMBAI: Powerkids, DQ entertainment's marketing arm, has launched the series The World of Tosh on DD Sahyadri on 1 July.

After being dubbed in Marathi, the show is being aired twice a week, on Thursdays and Fridays at 5:05 pm, and the series is titled Tosh chi duniya for a better connect with the Marathi speaking audiences.

An animated, family comedy-The World of Tosh follows the crazy day-to-day life of the hero, Tosh- world's smartest nine year old.

The series revolves around Tosh - a perfectly normal kid- a charming flirt with a zany imagination, plenty of self-confidence and an incredible go-get'em attitude.

The character has the most amazing imagination, particularly when it comes to girls. He is the most incredible flirt, which makes his confidence and unflappable belief that everything really is possible. Sophie is Tosh's best girl friend and Herman is his best guy friend. They have known each other since they were babies, says an official release.

Following the launch of Saahasa Baluru on etv Telugu in January, the foray onto a terrestrial platform is the next step of DQE towards disseminating top quality content to satellite and terrestrial platforms in the country, informs the release.

A forerunner in the multimedia and animation industry, DQE specializing in high quality 2D animation and 3D animation for TV, movies and web applications.
