For the first time, all programmes in the video library will be digitised for enhanced screening conditions. Out of the 700 programmes to be presented, 70 per cent are brand new. Introducing these programmes to the international market a month ahead of MIPCOM gives French distributors a competitive edge, an official release asserts.

In the wake of the Beirut Showcase organised by TV France International in April, Le Rendez-Vous 2004 will witness a strong attendance from Middle East buyers, the release adds.
