The Miss INMumbai contest, now in its ninth year, is annual event that provides an opportunity for aspiring young girls to make a mark in the world of fashion and glamour, says an official release. 18 shortlisted contestants, groomed by experts in various fields including fitness, personality development and ramp walk, will fight it out for the top spot.

The event is focused on the city's youth and is targeted at improving their confidence, personality and providing them with a platform to showcase their talents.

Contestants will undergo comprehensive sessions on effective speaking, meditation, physical fitness from experts such as Aseem Merchant, Anupama Verma and others, at a camp currently underway at Planet Health.
