The company's news operations have yielded revenues of Rs 144.43 million, as against revenues of Rs 93.63 million for the same period last year. The company has however pointed out that this is the second quarter for which results are being published after the joint venture with CNBC was restructured, and consequently, figures this quarter are not comparable with the previous year quarter. Q2 2004 shows a revenue of Rs 106.31 million from news operations.

The company's entertainment operations have also grown from Rs 0.71 million in the last quarter to Rs 4.07 million this quarter.
