| The series comprising 5 one day internationals (ODI)
and 3 test matches would be played at different venues in Pakistan.
Prior to this series, India and Pakistan have played cricket only
in neutral venues like Sharjah and Canada and in tournaments like
the World Cup.

Cricket Board worth $42 million. This is the third series following
the Pakistan versus Bangladesh and Pakistan versus South Africa
series. "
