MUMBAI: Shortly after signing a deal with Disney to distribute its channels in India, the Rupert Murdoch owned broadcaster Star has renewed a multi-year agreement with Disney's content distributor Buena Vista International Television Asia Pacific (BVITV-AP)

Star Movies will continue to air the latest releases from Disney, Touchstone and Miramax across Asia. These include Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement, The Village, Starsky and Hutch and Cold Mountain

Star COO Steve Askew said, "Disney’s blockbusters have a renowned mass appeal to movie lovers. Renewing the partnership with Disney reaffirms Star Movies’ leadership position in delivering premium content to viewers across Asia and I believe it will further drive viewing to the channel.".

Pincess Diaries 2 begins where the smash original ended. In the quest for a groom, comedy and complications rule the day as the cast and filmmakers behind the first film, including director Garry Marshall Pretty Woman, return for this hilarious take of the theme 'happily ever after'.
