Warner Bros. Intl television distribn deal with CCTV

MUMBAI: Marking its first volume programming distribution deal with a Chinese broadcaster, Warner Bros. International Television Distribution (WBITD) has concluded a multi-year, television deal with China Movie Channel CCTV-6.
 
 

The deal calls for the television rights to a slate of current and library feature films as well as made-for-television movies for broadcast on CCTV-6.

CCTV-6 claims to have over 700 million viewers. WBITD licenses around 43,000 hours of programming dubbed or subtitled in more than 40 languages to more than 175 countries.
