Alfred Haber Dist Inc to show 'Stupid Behavior Caught On Tape'

NEW JERSEY: Alfred Haber Distribution, Inc. will be showing program buyers attending MIPCOM 2003 Stupid Behavior Caught On Tape, the network special and subsequent 13 half-hour episode series. It has been produced by Bruce Nash Entertainment for the Fox network in the US.

Additionally, the distributor will be licensing World Poker Tour, the intriguing primetime reality series that dealt the Travel Channel its winning (highest rated) series in the US.

Alfred Haber Distribution Inc. is the distributor of one of the largest catalogues of music, variety and documentary programming produced for US broadcast networks.

Stupid Behavior Caught On Tape exposes peoples most embarrassing and outrageous behaviour, as they are unaware that their actions are being recorded. As home video enthusiasts, security and surveillance cameras and even police tapes proliferate virtually every corner of daily life, more of peoples most unbelievable moments are being captured on videotape.

From ridiculous sporting moves and just plain bad driving to the simple yet funny everyday things some people do, nothings sacred to the producers of Stupid Behavior Caught On Tape.

From its initial success as a network special for Fox to the overall performance of the first full season of half-hour episodes, Stupid Behavior Caught On Tape proves that people love to laugh at each other and themselves, says Alfred Haber Distribution, Inc. president Fred Haber. And lets be honest, watching someone elses stupid behaviour is very entertaining and often amusing, regardless of where you live or what language you speak, he adds.

World Poker Tour puts the television audience tableside with the worlds best poker players as they travel to exotic locations to earn a seat at the ultimate poker championship in Las Vegas and a chance to win three million dollars. The series, which travels to Aruba, Paris and other exotic locations, places 16 cameras around a Millionaire style set to capture all of the action and subtleties of this compelling new spectator sport.

Play-by-play analysis from poker pro Mike Sexton and announcer Vince Van Patten steer the live and television audiences through the nomenclature of the game, helping to make viewers feel involved in the players million-dollar decisions. According to Sports Illustrated, World Poker Tour is engrossing not only because huge fortunes are won and lost, but also because of the Hole Card Cam, a tiny camera that lets viewers see the players hole card and thus get unfettered insight into whos bluffing and whos not. The competition is played out over 13 episodes in what Haber describes as Survivor meets The Millionaire.

Among the other programme franchises that Alfred Haber Distribution, Inc., is bringing to the MIPCOM market are the Miss Universe Pageant, The Grammy Awards and the Golden Globe Awards.
