Vinod Dua to anchor 'Kaun Banega Mukhyamantri' on Star News

MUMBAI: Former advisor to the Sahara group's news channel venture, television personality Vinod Dua is all set to anchor the Star News election special Kaun Banega Mukhyamantri.

The show will cover Assembly elections in all five states - Madhya Pradesh, Chhatisgarh, Rajasthan, Mizoram and New Delhi - with key election issues and indepth analysis by opinion leaders and political commentators.

Adding to Star News' current affairs programming, Kaun Banega Mukhyamantri will focus on the issues and problems of people and whether politicians are addressing these concerns. The daily half-hour election special will have Dua reaching out to people, interacting with them and discussing their problems. It will include posers from the people, discussions with experts and interviews of ministers.

The show also has a Sunday episode called Kaun Banega Mukhyamantri - 'Aapka Hukm' in which a single issue across the states will be covered throughout the day. This special Sunday coverage will culminate into an hour-long show at 11 pm where the entire day's issue will be analysed and discussed in perspective.

Experts on the show include eminent journalist Virendra Kapoor and Star News editor Sanjay Pugalia. For analytical inputs, the channel has roped in noted election expert Mahesh Rangarajan.

The election special airs from 15 September, Monday to Friday at 8:30 pm with the repeat airing the next day at 10:30 am. Kaun Banega Mukhyamantri - Aapka Hukm airs beginning 14 September on Sundays at 11:00 pm.
