One hopes for the broadcasters sake that it is much better than the specials they had before and after each World Cup match in March where the experts cracked inane jokes. ESS commentator Alan Wilkins will present Best Of The Day. This will have highlights of the day’s play with an interactive analysis by Geoffrey Boycott and Ravi Shastri.

The analysis will take the sessions one after the other. This will be telecast on Star Sports at 8 pm and will be repeated on ESPN at 11:30 pm. The first test is played from 8-12 October and the second from 16-20 October. This will be followed by a triangular series involving Australia as well.
