NEW DELHI: Television personality Rajat Sharma's Independent News
Service will launch India TV, a 24-hour Hindi news channel, early
next year.
Company sources say Euro RSCG has been mandated to undertake the
marketing activities of the channel. The total project cost is Rs
1 billion and 26 per cent equity stake in India TV has been offloaded
to two investors.
