MUMBAI: This is a piece of news that MTV could do without. A woman has filed a complaint saying that she was date raped while visiting the set of MTV's reality show Real World. She had visited the shows San Diego house.

As a result the police searched the place. As per a report in The New York Post the woman said that she was drugged and attacked by an acquaintance of one the residents of the house Randy.

Her attacker apparently gave her a drink at a nightclub after which she blacked out. The next morning she was found in the guest bedroom in the house withour any clothes indicating that she may have been date raped. The report adds that while the house is full of cameras, the bathroom where the attack supposedly took place is one of two rooms with no cameras or video equipment.

Meanwhile an AP report has quoted a channel spokeswoman saying that none of the cast or crew members were involved. While no arrests have yet been made the San Dieog police have seized bedding, towels, couch cushions, video tape equipment, taped footage and computer equipment. These will be processed for evidence.

The show follows the fate of seven strangers who have been chosen to live in a house. The fun comes in finding out what happens when people stop being polite and start getting real. Real World will also visit Paris.
