An official release informs that registered users will be given
exclusive access to match highlights from the first round, quarterfinals,
semifinals and final of the 2003 competition. In addition, post
match player interviews will be available, adding to the viewer
experience. Users will also be able to access highlights footage
from the final, which will be played at the Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne,
Australia from 28-30 November 2003. The highlights will be available
- as all footage will be in future 24 hours after the conclusion
of play.
ITF executive director, commercial, Jan Menneken added, "We are
delighted to partner with Sportev in this brand new initiative that
will add another dimension to our online offering to tennis fans
around the world. We believe this application to be a significant
first step towards the development of our broadband video strategy."
