MUMBAI: The peak of India's fashion scene, The Lakme India Fashion Week, is shifting broadcast residence.

The showcase event that has been hitherto airing on Star World for the last two years is moving to Sony from this year on. Sony Entertainment Television India has bagged the broadcast rights for the next three years.

Queried about this development, SET India executive V-P Sunil Lulla withheld comment.

The Indian fashion showcase event is being held in Mumbai this year and the theme is "watercolours". Designers for the finale are Hemant Trevedi and Wendell Roderiks, reports say.
