LONDON: Associated Press Television News (APTN), video news agency with 500 broadcasters, major portals and web sites with video, has appointed Nicky de Blois as the video journalist for China.

According to an official release, the news agency is one of the oldest and largest newsgathering organisation in the world, works for 24 hours and has a network of 83 bureau to cover news worldwide.

The newly appointed photo journalist, De Blois had been working with APTN in China as cameraman. He will now be based at international video arm of the Associated Press- APTN in Beijing.

De Blois, a citizen of South Africa, has also worked as a cameraman APTN's bureau in Johannesburg.

De Blois will be reporting to Norman Bottorf, Television Manager for China.
