| IBF team to meet Prasad today |

| NEW DELHI: A top level delegation of the
Indian Broadcasting Federation is slated to meet newly inducted minister
of state for information and broadcasting Ravi Shankar Prasad in New
Delhi at 4.30 pm today. |

| This is Prasad's first official interaction
with representatives of the broadcasting fraternity after assuming
charge last week. While details of the issues the meeting is likely
to touch upon are not clear, it is believed that the imminent rollout
of conditional access system in the country, as also the pending Star
News uplink proposal will be on the agenda. |

The IBF may also present is budget wish
list to the new minister, while it apprises him of the current broadcasting
scenario in the country.
