TPS introduces interactive games channel Playin'Star

MUMBAI: France's Visiware, a distributor of interactive television services, has announced that a new adult oriented interactive games channel Playin'Star has debuted on the TPS distribution platform in France.

An official release informs that Playin'Star has made a technical revolution in the interactive world by offering an electronic games guide with more than 400 broadcasted images via a carrousel. The channel offers a wide range of games at one time and requires very little bandwidth. Thanks to these technical feats, Playin'Star manages to combine quality and diversity.

Playin'Star claims to have revolutionised games on the idiot box. On channel 87 (the new "Game Avenue" channel), TPS subscribers have access 24 hours every day to over 15 exclusive games. Programming includes: Las Vegas style casino games which change every 30 seconds (roulette, blackjack, horse betting, slot machines) quizzes, psychological tests to better understand your (partner, work, money), and also famous well known games like Family Feud and even the first ever teach yourself the  Highway Code game.

The release adds that as an introductory offer, TPS subscribers can discover Playin'Star for free through a demo. During the course of next year, Playin'Star will be broadcast on other French networks as well as abroad and the game content will be regularly enriched.

The interactive games channel Playin'TV is broadcated on Echostar (USA), Bell Express Vu (Canada), DirectTV GLA (Latin America), Sky Digital (UK), CanalSatellite, TPS, Noos, France Tlcom Cble, NTL (France) Viasat (Scandinavia), Zonavi (Scandinavia).
