MagnaQuest to manage Asianet's Net service billings

Asianet Satellite Communications has chosen MagnaQuest Technologies India handle its subscriber management systems (SMS).



MagnaQuest provides customer management & billing (CM&B) solutions in the data, video and content space. As per the arrangement the CM&B provider will supply Asianet with its billing solution, MQSubscribe.



Asianet is the largest Cable TV service provider and broadband ISP in the southern state of Kerala. For managing the complex billing and customer care needs of its Internet services, Asianet sought a comprehensive solution that was robust, reliable and scalable. Asianet chose MQSubscribe, a cost-effective billing solution to be able to do flexible real-time rating and billing and service packaging, apart from other critical functions like customer care.



MagnaQuest says that the highly customisable solution easily integrates with Asianet's provisioning and mediation infrastructure and conditional access systems (CAS).



MagnaQuest will implement MQSubscribe for Asianet's ISP requirements, and integrate it with Cisco's CNR/BPR middleware for service provisioning and mediation. The solution is a convergent one, and can be extended to handle Pay TV billing related functional requirements as and when they come up, and can handle millions of subscribers.
