MUMBAI: CNBC Asia Pacific and Shanghai Media Group jointly announced a strategic partnership today.
The partnership announced today has two initial elements. The partnership has received approval from Chinas State Administration of Radio, Film and Television (SARFT), and is strongly supported by the relevant Shanghai governmental departments, according to an official release.
A special edition of CNBCs Programme Managing Asia, repackaged by Shanghai Media Group, is being prepared to be offered to Chinese audiences via its Business Channel. Through in-depth, one-on-one interviews, Managing Asia examines the secrets and strategies of the Asia Pacific regions most influential business leaders.
Additionally, beginning 14 April, CNBC and Shanghai TVs Business Channel will broadcast live updates from Shanghai on CNBCs extensive global network twice each working day. Chinas most relevant and up-to-the minute business intelligence will be brought to investors and business people throughout Asia, Europe and the United States.
