| MUMBAI:
Kalanithi Maran's Sun TV is beaming without a pause in the US. The
most popular Indian channel in the South, Tamil channel Sun TV, is
now available 24 hours a day in the US. |

| From
12 September, Sun became the first regional channel to be beamed into
the US through a DTH platform. Earlier, only Zee and Sony had this
facility. Sun now plans bringing its other channels, Gemini and Surya
for the NRI population speaking Telugu and Malayalam. |

The
channel is available on the DISH Network for $14.99 a month. Its programming
mix includes news, film based shows, serials, children's programmes,
movies and game shows.
