Star Plus' head of programming Tarun Katial however, had a different
take on Kaalki. "Discussions are in process but nothing has
been finalised as yet," Katial said.
Kaalki is the second in the series of weekend programming
being planned by Balaji after Kya Haadsa Kya Kaqueqat, which
was recently launched on Sony Entertainment Television India. Kya
Haadsa... had a disastrous debut that led to the changing of
the lead heroine within three weeks of its launch. However, according
to Balaji, the show has now picked up and has seen a "significant
improvement in TRPs during week ended 21st September, 2002."
