Zee-Turner hopes to get the combos right with new subscription packages

It's all about getting the combinations spot on. In these times of rising tensions between broadcasters and cable operators, networks are offering various combinations of the channels they have on offer to ensure that their channels get carriage.

Details about the various packages Zee is offering post its joint venture deal with Turner Broadcasting are now available. Obviously a lot of effort has gone into making sure that there is something for everyone in the packages on offer. This is crucial because increases in cable subscriptions may well lead to a situation where, due to consumer resistance, operators pick and choose the bouquets that they carry.
