As a part of the programming strategy, a seven-minute capsule covering various topics inclusive of power games, elections, violence & terror, sports, business, cinema and newsmakers to recapitulate the happenings of the year 2002 will be telecast everyday.

Flashback Aaj Tak 2002 will be a one-hour programme aired on 31December at 11:00 pm and will sum up the happenings of the year.

Two special programmes, Seedhi Baat Flashback 2002 & Cinema Aaj Tak Flashback 2002., based on two weekly programmes on Aaj Tak will be also be aired on 25 December 9:30 pm and 27 December 9:30 pm respectively. The half-hour programmes will recaptulate the major interviews and stories covered on these programmes in the last year.
