MUMBAI:
Zee Café is launching the fifth and sixth seasons of
American teen drama television series 'Gossip Girl'.
Starting
13 March, the show will air Monday to Friday at 10 pm.
The
new seasons of the series, based on the book series of the
same name written by Cecily von Ziegesar, promises to come
with interesting twists and turns that will keep the viewers
hooked to the show.
The
series stars Blake Lively, Leighton Meester, Penn Badgley,
Chace Crawford and Ed Westwick.
The
fifth and sixth season will be supported by an extensive on
ground and online campaign, targeting females in all major
metros with promotions in top markets.
L'oreal
is the presenting sponsor while the show is powered by Mc
Vitie's digestive.
The
channel has tied up with the fashion magazines in India Vogue
and L'officiel for the show's promotion. Juice is on board
as the salon partner and will be promoting the "Gossip
Girl" look in salons across Mumbai.
Zee
Café is also going all out for this campaign by throwing
exclusive 'Girls Night Out' parties in Hard Rock Cafe across
Mumbai and Delhi. The event is going to be an "invites
only" affair and the guests are going to be chosen by
the channel.
The
other partners on board are TGIF as restaurant partners, BIG
Cinemas as multiplex partners and online partners include
Bookmyshow, Burrrp.com, In.com and Mumbai Boss.
'Gossip
Girl' revolves around the Upper East Side's secretive and
ultra scandalous gossip girl. In Season 5, the mysterious
gossip girl will be back in the lives of Blair Waldorf, Serena
van der Woodsen, Chuck Bass, Nate Archibald and Dan Humphrey
to ruffle a few feathers and divulge not so pleasant secrets
about them. The journey of gossip girl finally comes to an
electrifying end and the Series Finale will begin with the
show's "unforgettable" moments.
