Zee Kannada's 'Kutumba awards' on 3 March

BANGALORE: Zeel’s Kannada offering Zee-Kannada will be holding the first edition of its awards – ‘Zee-Kutumba’ in Bangalore on 3 March.

The Zee Kutumba Awards are exclusively for the serials, reality shows and other programmes of Zee Kannada and their artists. The event will be telecast towards the end of this month.

Zee Kannada plans to highlight not just individual characters but relationships with Zee Kutumba. Some of the award categories include Best Family, Best Mother-Father, Best Mother-Daughter, Best Pair, Best Villain pair, etc. For reality shows, the Zee Kutumba has categories like the Best Anchor, Best Reality Show, etc. Awards for categories like ‘Best mother-in-law – daughter-in-law’ pair will be chosen based on SMS.

Zee Kutumba awards function will be a colorful and star-studded event. Performances such as Sihi Kahi Chandru’s special act called Chandru-Katte, where he gets to pull every stars leg with his quick wit and humorous questions and a lively performance by the popular actress Neetu are on the agenda.

Film celebrities and politicians will also be a part of this grand event, the channel said.
