MUMBAI: Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited (Zeel) has appointed Sanjay Reddy as EVP–South Cluster.

This will be Reddy’s second stint with Zeel after a gap of two years. In his new role, he will be heading all south channels of Zee - Zee Telugu, Zee Kannada and Zee Tamil. He will report to Zeel creative head Nittin Keni.

Reddy had left Zeel in August 2009 as Zee South Channels' COO to join Sun TV Network as business head Telugu Cluster.

Zeel MD and CEO Punit Goenka said, "We are delighted to have Reddy back in our team. South has always been one of Zeel’s key market and we are confident of consolidating our position, with a robust team headed by Keni and Reddy."

Reddy comes with over two decades of experience in the media and entertainment industry. Prior to Zeel, Reddy has been associated with companies like The Walt Disney, MSM Network, ESPN Star Sports, Bennett and Coleman and Co. Limited.

Keni added, "In-line with our strategy to strengthen our position in southern market, Sanjay will contribute tremendously to growing and expanding the Zeel brand further. I am looking forward to working with Sanjay to steer the growth in southern market."
