BRB series travels to Latin American

MUMBAI: Latin America is gaining popularity with international broadcasters. Spanish Production house BRB Internacional, which is known for its series of stereoscopic 3D and computer animation, has signed broadcasting agreements with Latin American for their cartoon series.


Suckers, Canimals, Angus & Cheryl and Papawa, along with a few other animated series, will all be aired in an open broadcast format. These animated cartoon series are heading to gain popularity, not just in the Latin American market, but in various countries of the region.


Non- Dialogue 3D toon, Sucker (104x2‘), which already airs on Cartoon Network in Latin America, will be seen on Canal 7 in Argentina and Once TV in Mexico. Whereas, Canimals (52x7‘) has not only been acquired by Once TV in Mexico but also by Disney Latin America for broadcast in different countries. The broadcasting rights of Papwa (104x7‘) have been brought by UCV Television in Chile.


Meanwhile, Canal 9 in Costa Rica has acquired Canimals, Suckers and Angus & Cheryl. The leading broadcasters of the region have also acquired rights for other series such as ‘Iron Kid‘, ‘Bernard‘ or ‘The one thousand and one Americas?. While Panama SERTV bought ‘Bernard‘, The one thousand and one Americas‘ will be viewed by the Columbians.


The North American market will also see ‘Kambu‘ and ‘Zoobabu‘, which will be presented by Hola Entertainment that handles BRB?s Catalogue.
