MUMBAI: Sony India is bringing 3D TV to India, the next big trend in the evolution of multimedia entertainment.

The new range of Bravia series will be available in the new and stylish Monolithic design concept, offering entertainment to users with Internet enabled TV.

Sony plans to capture 30 per cent of the total market share in the LCD TV segment. The company says that it is confident that it will be able to achieve the targets based on three strong pillars of technology, picture quality and design.

With the announcement for the launch of 3D TVs, Sony says that it is all set to provide the most break-through technology to AV enthusiasts. Additionally, Sony LED backlight TV gives better contrast for deeper blacks and crispier bright colour.

To complete the home entertainment experience, Sony takes a leap ahead by bringing internet content to TV with Bravia Internet Video which allows users quick access to sites like YouTube, Facebook, Yahoo.com and many others. This feature allows you to access up to 30 websites currently.

With Bravia Internet widgets, you could stay in touch with the latest happenings around the world from the Internet directly to your television set.

With technology such as Motionflow 200Hz with Image Blur Reduction, one can watch smoother sports and action scenes. There is a live colour feature. The new range of TVs also come enabled with MPEG Noise reduction and Intelligent Picture Plus which considerably reduce noise that is normally found in many scenes and produces pictures that are much sharper, clear and noise-free.

With 24 new models in NX, EX & BX series and screen sizes varying from 22 to 60 inches, Sony will continue to rule the living room by delivering TVs that work synergistically, both in function and design.

The company will invest Rs 1.4 billion towards ATL and BTL activities that involves print and electronic media, online, outdoor and shop-front.
