Sony Pictures Television signs carriage deal with BT Vision for 2 channels

MUMBAI: Sony Pictures Television has announced an agreement with UK's digital TV provider BT for carriage of its two channels on BT's Vision platform.

As per the deal, Sony Entertainment Television and Sony Retro will now be added to BT Vision on-demand TV service.

 

Sony Pictures Television EVP international networks Ross Hair said, "Launching in the UK as a subscription on-demand service is an important milestone for our networks business and demonstrates our commitment to growing a networks presence for SPT on key digital platforms."

 
 
This is the first UK launch for Sony Entertainment Television that offers dramas such as Damages and The Shield, while Sony Retro offers classic hits such as Charlie's Angels, Starsky & Hutch and Diff'rent Strokes.
