| MUMBAI:
Sab, the linear family comedy channel, will launch Sab Chup Raho, a silent
comedy show by end of January. The
show will revolve around day-to-day life in a joint family. Each episode will
have members of a family communicating through sign language. Confirming
the development, Sab business head Anooj Kapoor says, "In a bid to provide
innovative and fresh content to consumers, we are on course to roll out India's
first silent comedy by the end of January." Produced
by Fireworks Production, Sab Chup Raho is a half an hour show that will
either air between 9 and 11 pm, the time when the channel is currently telecasting
repeats of Taarak Mehta Ka Oolta Chashma or will be put in the slot Aadi
Manav is telecast. |
