| MUMBAI:
11-year-old television star Neha Sawant was found dead in her living room, hanging
by a 'dupatta' (scarf), when her younger sister returned home after her morning
school.
With
both parents out on work and unable to open the door herself,
the young girl took aid from the neighbours for opening the
door. And as they did, Neha Sawant was founding hanging.
Neha,
portrayed to be an amazing dancer who had performed on three
television talent shows including Boogie Woogie, was rushed
to hospital, only to be declared dead on arrival on 2 January.
While
cops are still investigating as to what could have triggered the move, they have
confirmed the suicide.
According
to various media reports, Neha's father Narendra Sawant had
revealed that he and his wife had pulled her out of the academy
they wanted her to concentrate on her studies.
However,
apparently Neha was very keen on continuing with her classes and her shows. |
