DELHI: A major reshuffle has been effected in the Information and Broadcasting
ministry. DP
Reddy, a senior officer of the Punjab cadre, has been appointed joint secretary
in charge of films in the I&B ministry. Reddy
replaces VB Pyarelal who becomes joint secretary, information.
Earlier,
Uday K Varma, who was additional secretary in the I&B ministry, has been made
the special secretary.
It
is also learnt that all additional secretaries due for promotion as secretaries
have been given the rank of special secretaries pending vacancies in future. |
