MUMBAI: A&E has picked up an as-yet-untitled docu-series from FremantleMedia North America that gives a behind-the-scenes look into the life of David Hasselhoff.

The 10x30-minute series will look at The Hasseloff's multiple entertainment and business endeavours as he balances work with his role as a single dad raising two teenage daughters who aspire to break into the recording industry.

Hasselhoff is currently busy with a number of live performances and business ventures but is dedicated to making his daughters' dreams of entering the music business a reality.

"It's the dream of every parent to be able to help their children succeed," said Hasselhoff adding, "I told the girls that I would help them open the door when they are ready, but they would have to walk through it on their own. This is their time and I am excited to be a part of it by partnering with A&E and FremantleMedia on this new series."
