MUMBAI: TF1 and Endemol France have entered into a new partnership covering non-scripted entertainment, documentaries and drama till 30 June 2012.

According to the announcement from the two companies, the agreement gives TF1 greater flexibility across all slots: prime time, access prime time, late evening and daytime.

The long-term renewal sees France's market-leading broadcaster taking the exclusive free-to-air rights for game shows, reality TV, entertainment, major events, documentaries and drama from Endemol France, as well as pay-to-view new-media rights to the content for use online, on mobile and via IPTV.

Commented TF1 group chairman and CEO Nonce Paolini, "I am delighted with this agreement that secures TF1's access to the world's leading catalogue of formats across all broadcast and distribution channels. The agreement offers a balanced, flexible approach, in tune with the new economic landscape."
