Music lovers are in for a treat. Rocket Man and Lionel Richie are set to perform
at the opening ceremony of Indian Premier League (IPL) 3.0.
This
was revealed by IPL chairman and commissioner Lalit Modi in his Twitter account.
Richie recently re-recorded the classic song We Are The World for the victims
of the Haiti earthquake. Announcements of more acts will be made in due course.
Modi also visited Youtube's headquarters in the US and says that the meetings
went off very well. He
also says that the number of foreign players per team who can be on the field,
which is at the moment is four, will not be increased. |
