After hunting out the best comic talents amongst kids with Chhote Miyan,
Colors is now ready to begin an aggressive search for the small dancing talents
across India. The
channel is gearing up to launch Chak Dhoom Dhoom- a show that will see
children between the age group of 5-14 competing for the Best Junior Dancing
star title from across the nation. Starting
next week, the Viacom18 channel will kick off six-city auditions for the show,
spread over a two-month period. The
channel has also roped in choreographers Saroj Khan, Ahmed Khan and Bigg Boss
season 3 winner Vindu Dara Singh to don the jury's hat while Bigg Boss
3 runner up Pravesh Rana will host the show. Says
Colors programming head Ashvini Yardi, The young India is extremely talented
and full of energy and exuberance. Chak Dhoom Dhoom will provide an opportunity
to showcase their dancing skills before an eminent jury and the Indian audiences. The
auditions will be held in Lucknow, Ahmedabad, Bhopal, New Delhi, Kolkata, and
Mumbai and choreographer duo Bosco and Ceaser will mentor the kids. The show is
being produced by Endemol India. Incidentally,
Zee TV runs a very popular dance reality show Dance India Dance, which
is in its second season now, currently clocking a 5+ TVR. |
