Zoom launches IVR portal for updates on Bollywood

MUMBAI: Zoom, a Bollywood channel for young urban Indians, has launched an interactive voice response portal (IVR) to reach out to its audiences anytime and anywhere.

Users can dial 58888901 from their personal mobile phones for the latest updates on Bollywood movie reviews, gossips, star interviews, and contest.

Zoom has also started a movie SMS service, wherein a user can get information on movies by simply sending a text message with the name of the movie name to 58888.

Says Zoom business head Bala Iyengar, “This latest service from ZoOm is all set to cater to audiences who are constantly looking out for instant entertainment and information on Bollywood anytime, anywhere."

Adds Times Internet CEO Rishi Khiani, “The launch of Zoom IVR is focused at serving the growing consumption of audio entertainment via mobile devices amongst the youth in India. This service will enable users to listen to the latest buzz in tinsel town even while on the go.”

Zoom targets the 15-34 age group in the SEC AB set.
