It was Slumdog Millionaire fervour all over again as composer A R Rahman collected
yet another honour by taking home two Grammys at the event held at the Staples
Center in Los Angeles a few hours ago.
'Jai
Ho' won the best song in a motion picture and the soundtrack of Slumdog was adjudged
the best compilation soundtrack for a motion picture. Rahman, who beat Bruce Springsteen
(nominated for The Wrestler) to win the best song award, shares the award with
veteran lyricist Gulzar who wrote 'Jai Ho'. "Jai
ho" has been sung by Sukhwinder Singh, Tanvi Shah, Mahalaxmi Iyer, Vijay
Prakash and Rahman himself.(Click
