| MUMBAI:
The Indian Premier League (IPL) is eyeing additional revenue by holding exhibition
matches overseas from next year, which will be the icing on its over one-billion
dollar domestic business.
IPL
chairman and commissioner Lalit Modi has said that all teams will play 4-5 matches
a year at overseas venues. These matches will be beyond the season, contributing
to more in IPL's money bag. Modi
has also said that there are no plans of going in for an initial public offering
(IPO) as the T20 property is generating enough revenues. |
