Prasar Bharati CEO Anil Baijal new IBF president

Anil Baijal, CEO, Prasar Bharati, was elected president of the Indian Broadcasting Foundation (IBF) on Monday.

The IBF Board of Directors elected him chief at a board meeting in New Delhi.

Baijal is the third president of the IBF after RR Shah, former Prasar Bharati CEO and Rathikant Basu, CEO Broadcast Worldwide, which beams the Tara bouquet of channels.

Basu earlier had stints as Doordarshan director-general and Star TV India CEO.
