This year, for the first time, the convention which has
been rapidly growing every year, is spread over four days
from 13-16 March 2003. FRAMES 2003 will be held at The Reniassance
Hotel and Convention Centre, Powai, in Mumbai.
The technology seminar - under the aegis of e-Entertainment
Alliance, FICCI, NASSCOM and TIE - focusses on the usage of
new technologies in developing the business of media and entertainment
and will cover various issues including the digitisation of
cable systems and animation, amongst others.
The key speakers at the technology seminar include bigwigs
Reliance Entertainment chairman Amit Khanna, NASSCOM president
Kiran Karnik, E-Entertainment co-chairman Harish Mehta and
TIE president Vijay Mukhi.
The highlights of the day are the presence of international
speakers CASBAA CEO Simon Twiston Davies, IBM Global Services
principal leader, media and entertainment Timothy O Brien,
Discreet regional manager Peter Moxom and UK animation major
Framestore CFC's chief executive William Sargent.
FRAMES opens at 10 am with the opening remarks by the mayor
of Dunedin, New Zealand, Sushi Turner.
The technology seminar will be followed by a session on Venture
Capital Financing and Mentoring. The panel will be shared
by the US-based Larta CEO Rohit Shukla and Passion Fund.com
CEO Mahesh Murthy.
Over 1200 national and international delegates representing
the biggest entertainment companies in India and globally
are expected to participate at FRAMES 2003.
