      Aufait to animate 'Kunhaman' for Kairali

This Onam, TV channel Kairali plans to celebrate by launching an animated series on noted cartoonist late B.M.Gafoor’s cartoon character Kunhaman (uncle kunj).

The animated sequence is being produced by Aufait Productions which is a sister concern of Aufait Technologies Pvt Ltd, a leading digitization solutions provider catering to the needs of enterprises in India,US and the West Asian region.

"The sequence shall be 4 minutes long and shall feature on week days before the evening news" said Babu Bharadwaj, from the Kairali TV programming team.

Aufait Technologies Executive Director Serfraz speaking exclusively to Animation 'xpress said,"Its a 3-5 Minute Animation telestripes based on day to day political/international affairs. To begin with we are going to create a 100 episodes as part of the first phase."

"A Group of 30 dedicated and experienced artists headed by the late B.M.Gafoor’s son Thanveer Gafoor are working behind this project. The industry's leading cartoonists are involved in scripts, dialogues and storyboards. A team of mimicry artists from Kerala's leading mimicry troops will be involved in dubbing. The sound editing and mixing will be done in our own studio." informed the excited Serfraz.

Having appeared for the last 25 years in India’s second largest regional newspaper Mathrubumi, Kunhaman has formed an ever-lasting impression in the minds of Malayalees. The character Kunhaman depicts an ordinary man who raises his voice against corruption and malpractices.
