EMERYVILLE, CA - (July 16, 2004) Pixar Animation Studios (Nasdaq: PIXR) today announced that management will report second quarter 2004 earnings results Thursday, August 5, 2004 following the market close. Pixar's Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Steve Jobs, and Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Simon Bax, will conduct an earnings release teleconference to discuss information relevant to the second quarter results as well as other recent or upcoming developments affecting the company's operations. The teleconference will be held on Thursday, August 5, 2004 at 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time, 2:00 p.m. Pacific Time.
