Hava Badlegi - For Ad Infinitum Column

Storyboard:

This year too Havells Fans has extended their campaign thought- Hawa Badlegi(winds of change). The campaign showcases the range of Havells fans and confirms how the brand is aligned with a new and progressive way of thinking when it comes to our society at large. This year Havells has taken its communication PAN India, focusing on the south markets as well.

Purpose of the ad:

Film opens in a mini auditorium where a screening of a film is just ending and the censor board jury is waiting to give their verdict. The jury members are submitting their verdict when a senior member says, "Family film hai, isse 'U' certificate milna chaiye". Other jury members agree with him. To everyone's surprise a young jury member says "iss film ko toh adult certificate milna chahiye". One of the jury members, amused, asks "Aisa kya adult content hai iss film mein? To which he responds confidently, "Nudity, kaafi scenes mein hai, dekhi nahin aapne? One of the jury members mockingly asks " Mazaak kar rahe hain aap sir?" To which the young member says, "No I'm serious, Kam se kam 7 scene mein hero topless hai. Hui na nudity? Ab ladki kare toh nude, aur ladka kare toh dude?" The chairman of the jury is impressed and she smiles. Everyone else is taken aback.
