Purpose of the ad:

With the new TVC, the agency wants to to further push the envelope for the stylishly superior bike. With its new 2015 model of StaR City+, TVS has upped the ante by launching an uber-stylish Titanium Edition, while retaining its powerful Ecothrust Engine that generates an impressive Pick-up. So while the engine performance has been maintained as before, the style quotient has gone up a few notches.

 
Storyboard:

The creative idea of “Itna stylish ki seeti toh bajegi apne aap” fit the bill perfectly. Since whistling as a means of showing appreciation is not exactly considered as prim and proper behavior, the creative leap was in showing people whistling one least expects to do so. And of course, the presence of M.S.Dhoni as brand ambassador in the commercial provided star appeal and aided recall.
