Purpose of the ad:
To express gratitude and pay tribute to the Annadattas, the Indian farmers. This is being promoted through an interesting tagline which is completely in sync with the brands positioning Hum Hain Desh Ke Annadata Ki Shakti.

Storyboard:
The 60 seconder emphasises on the farming community and their contribution towards the society. The TVC highlights the efforts of farmers whose sweat and toil is often ignored or taken for granted. Today, the Indian farmers are mentioned only in the context of poverty, farmer suicides or drought, but there's much more to our kissans. A farmer not only simply serves the nation, but also feeds millions and provides for it. He is much more than a kissan, and should be addressed according to his true stature, as an Annadatta. Farmers are more than just growers of food, they are the ones who do backbreaking work and maintain our relationship with the soil, the ones who provide an essential and natural function to society. Through this TVC, Shakti Pumps gives reverence, respect and admiration to the Annadatta.
