| MUMBAI:
Pat Hingle, more popularly known as Commissioner Gordon of the batman movies in
the 1990s, expired on Saturday, 5 January after battling multiple health problems,
including blood cancer. He was 84. He
suffered from myelodysplasia and is survived by his wife, two sisters, five children
and 11 grandchildren. Born
on 19 July 1924, the American actor is traditionally known for playing judges,
police officers, and other authority figures. One of his notable roles is the

'Em High (1968), Sudden Impact (1983), Road To Redemption (2001),
When You Comin' Back, Red Ryder? (1979), Stephen King's Maximum Overdrive
