MUMBAI: Shemaroo Entertainment has released Mountbatten - The Last Viceroy on DVD.

The Last Viceroy, a 6-part British mini series, first telecast in the US on PBS' Masterpiece Theatre, is based during 1946 - 1947, during the period of which the British government granted independence to India.

The film that has Nicol Williamson, Malcolm Terris, Nigel Davenport, Sam Dastoor, Ian Richardson, Vladek Sheybal and Wendy Hiller has a running time of 150 minutes.

The DVD is priced economically priced at Rs 299.
