MUMBAI: Sony Pictures Releasing of India, which released Angels & Demons only across single screens and independent multiplex chains due to the multiplex-producer fracas, is now ready to open the film across various multiplex chains in India.

Angels & Demons, which has already begun running in select PVR Cinemas properties from today, will be opened in chains like Cinemax India, Fame Cinemas, Inox Leisure and Fun Cinemas from 9 June onwards.

Says Sony Pictures Releasing of India managing director Kercy Daruwala, "We have reached a mutual understanding with the multiplexes and will open the movie across a few selected multiplexes from tomorrow. From Friday onwards, the film will be seen across more multiplexes."

"Now that the producers and plex owners have reached a settlement over the revenue share issue, we will be adding 10-12 more prints of Angels & Demons," Daruwala says.

The movie was released with 133 prints across single screens and independent multiplex chains.
